This is our second experience of successfully selling a property on FSBO, both of which have been excellent. The FSBO website and online tools have been improved since the first listing, making the process even more seamless. I have just gone through the process of selling my condo through FSBO. To start, I will say, read the info they have available as it will give you an idea of what to expect. Or better yet, listen to their short audio that is available as well. Any questions just phone and they will be happy to answer your question. My advice is to do your research so you are aware of what is required to sell your property and have as many of the necessary docs required on hand. If you're not sure, they will help you through all steps. Also, if you want to sell your house and not deal with any realtors, that is great, but we are in a world where realtors still are the go-to way to sell and buy homes. So be prepared to have them want their piece of the pie. If you have time and are willing to take that time to wait things out to sell 100 percent privately, all the power to you. All in all, I had a great experience and will never go back to using a realtor. FSBO representatives will guide you through every step as they did with me, and I ended up paying half the fees that I would have if I chose to have a realtor representing me. I sold in less than 24 hours and over the list price. Can't complain at all. Great experience for me. Hope this helps anyone who is considering FSBO.
I had a really great experience selling my house through FSBO. They were always there to help me with any questions and have lots of resources such as the necessary forms needed on their website. I was able to sell my home privately and saved quite a bit in commissions so I'm very happy I made the decision to list with FSBO.
