Apple orchard under development in central Alberta.

Two varieties of winter hardy crab apples, suitable for hard apple cider, on 80 acres of land with number 1 soil, adequate rainfall and deer proof fencing. It is on 160 acres NW9-47-26W4 ( 53,04392, -11374747 ). The west side of the ¼ section currently hay land.

To qualified buyer, I can provide apples for product development, fermentation experience and equipment for the same. I have proof of concept samples, yield projections, some technical information and a basic business plan.

These apples have the potential to become a legacy business in the prairie area of western Canada! The flavor profile of crab apples cider is new and currently not in the market. Sampling has been very well received with various groups.

For health reasons I am unable to continue and would like to find a buyer to take on the project.
